The Tipping Point

If Planet Earth needs to be saved, the power to do so rests with the United States.  As the biggest consumer of natural resources, the biggest producer of waste, and the biggest international military occupation, the USA not only has the power to control the future of the planet, but the responsibility to guide it safely into the hands of generations to come.  If, with all the complexities of politics and economics, there could ever be but one solution to changing the world right now, the closest thing that comes to that solution is to end American dependence, not just on foreign oil, but on fossil fuel altogether, and to start looking seriously at alternative energy solutions.
